Project Blurb:

My project reflects the story of my family migrating to Australia and my Grandad finding his dad. I have used my grandparents garden as my place of inspiration to represent the story. I decided to take a delicate, watercolour style and line art approach to my drawings as it suited the story. A lot of the inspiration behind my design came from looking at peoples sketchbooks especially sketches on nature. I have used a simple colour palette of pink and green combined with realistic sketches. The visual imagery flows with the text and slowly reveals the importance of my grandparents garden.
